About This Scholarship
EAU's Women in Leadership Scholarship is designed to bridge the gender gap in higher education and empower the next generation of female leaders across East Africa. With women significantly underrepresented in key sectors such as law, technology and governance, EAU is committed to removing financial barriers that prevent talented women from reaching their full potential.
Recipients benefit from a dedicated women's mentorship network, leadership workshops, and connections to alumni role models.
Requirements & Criteria
- Female applicant enrolling in a qualifying programme
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent secondary school results
- Essay (600 words): describe your vision for women's leadership in East Africa
- One reference letter from a teacher, employer or community leader
