Open to new and continuing EAU students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.
About This Scholarship
The EAU Excellence Scholarship recognises and rewards outstanding academic achievement. Established to encourage high-performing students across East Africa to pursue higher education, this scholarship covers half of the recipient's tuition fees for the full duration of their programme — provided they maintain the required GPA each semester.
Recipients join a prestigious cohort of scholars who benefit from mentorship from EAU senior faculty and priority access to research opportunities.
Requirements & Criteria
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 (first-time applicants: submit secondary school results)
- Full-time enrollment in a Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's programme
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers or community leaders
- Personal statement (500 words) on academic goals
