About This Program
The Bachelor's program in Public Administration prepares students to lead and manage public institutions at a time when Somalia needs skilled, ethical administrators more than ever. Over four years, students build a strong foundation in governance, policy, and organizational management, combining theory with practical case studies drawn from local and regional government.
What You Will Learn
The curriculum covers public policy analysis, governance and institutional management, public finance and budgeting, administrative law, and ethics and accountability in public service. Students also study local governance and community development, with an emphasis on the challenges and opportunities facing Somali institutions today.
Graduates of this program go on to careers in government ministries and local councils, non-governmental and international organizations, and policy research, as well as further postgraduate study in public policy or administration.
